From Flames to Triumph: Exploring Sacred Fire keeping & Personal Triumphs

For our group project, my partner and I recently completed the video interview segment, and it was truly a fulfilling experience. Setting up the cameras, fine-tuning the audio, and ensuring the lighting was just perfect—it felt like stepping into a realm of creativity and connection. The process of conducting the interviews and absorbing the profound wisdom shared was nothing short of remarkable.

Our project delves into the captivating journey of a Sacred Firekeeper, shedding light on a role often misunderstood. While many might perceive a firekeeper as simply tending to flames, the depth of their practice goes far beyond. Throughout the interviews, one concept echoed in my mind: intention. What drives the kindling of this fire? What spiritual or emotional cleansing is sought? And perhaps most importantly, what personal purification must the firekeeper undergo before initiating the healing ritual with fire?

As we progress, I'm excited to delve into the digital illustration phase of our project. My goal is to craft visuals that not only depict our narrative but also offer insights into the profound essence of our story.

On a more personal note, I've been working on a separate project that's deeply close to my heart. It's a journey that spans from battling cancer to embracing life as a Twitch streamer, and now culminating in my graduation in Multimedia Communications. Reflecting on this journey has been both poignant and empowering. Writing about my struggles and triumphs, particularly regarding my cancer journey, has been a journey in itself—a journey of healing and growth.

Now, as I navigate the final stages of both projects, I'm contemplating how best to encapsulate these journeys visually and emotionally, ensuring they resonate with the audience on a profound level.
