Embracing Creativity: A Journey of Collaboration and Growth

As we near the conclusion of our final project, it's truly been an enlightening journey of creativity and thinking beyond conventional boundaries. Collaborating with a partner has been both enriching and challenging, especially as someone who identifies as neurodivergent. Balancing my ideas with theirs has presented its unique set of hurdles.

From the outset, I was brimming with ideas on how to approach our group project. I dived into Illustrator, meticulously crafting a total of 69 artboards to bring my vision to life. However, as we progressed, it became evident that not all of these would find their place in the final rendition. Feedback, a crucial aspect of any creative process, highlighted the need to trim down excessive text, a task that proved daunting.

Despite numerous iterations and setbacks, perseverance prevailed, and I eventually pieced together the culmination of our efforts. My project revolves around unraveling the essence of a sacred Firekeeper, a narrative woven through the tools of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Premiere Pro.

An integral part of this journey was the insightful interview with Doronn Fox, which not only enriched our project but also served as a profound learning experience. As we near its completion, I reflect on the challenges overcome and the knowledge gained, all of which have contributed to my growth as a creative thinker.
